Duffy: Give travelling fans something to cheer

Manager Jim Duffy says the Morton squad are going into Saturday’s Renfrewshire derby with a desire to give the travelling supporters something to cheer about on a day when their rivals will be celebrating their title success.

The Ton face St Mirren at the Paisley 2021 Stadium in their penultimate fixture of the 2017/18 Ladbrokes Championship campaign and still have a mathematical chance of claiming a place in the top four.

For the Greenock gaffer the aim is to finish the season as positively as possible and that means going out at the weekend with a determination to succeed and show the fans that the game means a lot to them too.

He also discusses his side’s unbeaten record against the Saints this season, congratulates them on their title success, and gives an injury update ahead of the game.
