Welcome to Morton, Sahil Bashir
Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the loan signing of Sahil Bashir from Huddersfield Town.
The 20-year-old winger arrives at the club on an initial short-term loan, subject to International Clearance and SFA Approval.
Sahil started his career with Bradford City and progressed through the youth ranks before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion at 16 years old. The winger would spend 3 years on the south coast before signing for Huddersfield Town Academy in the summer of 2025.
Bashir spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Qatar Stars League second division side Al-Markhiya, where he made 9 appearances across all competitions, scoring once.
