Stadium Update | 16/02/25

The club can confirm that as of Tuesday’s match with Hamilton Academical (18th February 2025) supporters will be able to return to the Cowshed.

The section which has been affected by the storm will be uncovered but most importantly it will allow supporters to return to undoubtedly the most popular area of the stadium and to partially covered areas.

We know with the uncovered area it is still far from ideal but as a short-term fix, we are delighted to bring supporters back to the Cowshed ahead of the scheduled date.

The timeline for the repairs to the roof is still to be confirmed as we work closely with our partners to look at availability of personnel, supplies and also to fit in around home fixtures.

The early re-opening of the Cowshed could not have been possible without the support of our insurance partners, A J Gallagher and their contractor Norside roofing. We would also like to thank our insurers other partner, Paradigm Reinstatements for the extensive and arduous work their team carried out in getting Cappielow fit for purpose over recent weeks.

We can confirm also that the match with Falkirk on Friday evening (21st February) will still be covered by BBC Scotland for their live broadcast and the same infrastructure set up will remain from previous matches.
