Stadium Plan Update | 10/02/25

Ahead of our upcoming home matches, we wanted to provide an update around the stadium infrastructure and fan-restricted areas due to the impact of recent Storm Eowyn.

To this point, the required works on the Cowshed have been identified and a full timeline plan is in the process of being delivered by our contractors and insurers. Given the scale of work required across various parts of the country for those affected by the storm, as well as the supply of materials and complex nature of the job, we are working hard with the insurer and contractors to get the situation resolved quickly, but most importantly correctly and safely.

At present the damaged area of the roof will not be repaired in time for our upcoming home matches. Thus, the following steps have been taken to ensure we maximise capacity at the stadium:

* Sinclair Street will remain open as per normal with access to the toilets and catering kiosk in the Cowshed through the back corridor. There will be absolutely no access to any part of the Cowshed which is covered (including the area affected by the storm).

* A small area of uncovered Cowshed terracing will be available next to the Cowshed/Sinclair Street turnstiles.

* Sections F & G of the Main Stand, normally given to away supporters will be retained for home supporters

* All away supporters will be housed in the Wee Dublin End.

For Cowshed season ticket holders, who wish to relocate to the Main Stand for upcoming matches, please contact the club prior 4.00pm on Friday 14th February to arrange temporary tickets for the main stand as Cowshed season tickets will not enable Main Stand turnstiles. Season ticket holders or match ticket holders looking to move to the Main Stand should make sure that they do so for matches against Airdrie (15th Feb), Hamilton (18th Feb) and Falkirk (21st Feb).

The floodlight that has been affected will also be repaired early this week.

A further update will be provided in advance of our home match with Ayr United on 8th March 2025.

We understand that this is not an ideal situation at present and appreciate the patience and understanding from supporters during this challenging time.

Cowshed Season Ticket Holders looking to relocate to the Main Stand for the fixtures listed above must contact admin@gmfc.net by 4.00pm on Friday 14th February.
