Rachael McConnachie returns to Greenock Morton Women

Greenock Morton Women are delighted to welcome Rachael McConnachie back to the club!

Rachael has been involved with the team since the start of the season as a trialist and we are thrilled to now have her rejoin the club officially.

It’s been a strong start to the season for Rachael already, scoring 5 goals in just 2 league games, 4 of which coming against Hutchison Vale in a 6-0 win.

Rachael has a successful history with the club and will be looking to add to her already impressive stats this coming season!

On securing Rachael’s signature, Manager Gary Forbes commented, “We are delighted to add Rachael to the squad for the season. She is a player that we all know very well she adds even more quality middle to front in the team. We are delighted to have secured her signature for the season!”

Rachael commented on her return adding, “It’s amazing to be back, I had such a good season last year with Queen’s Park but I felt that it was time for me to come home where I first started my football journey and I can’t wait to be back playing with the team again.”
