Pitch Update | 04/07/26

We wanted to give supporters a quick update on the condition of the pitch.

Unfortunately, during maintenance work, we experienced a hydraulic leak which has caused damage to a small section of the playing surface. While disappointing, this was an unavoidable accident and the affected area represents only a very small part of the pitch.

Importantly, we do not expect the affected area to have any impact on either today’s match or next week’s fixture, with the pitch otherwise in excellent condition.

Our plan is to carry out the necessary repairs on the Monday following the Linlithgow game. This timing will allow the area around two weeks to recover and establish properly ahead of the season.

The good news is that the rest of the pitch is looking fantastic, and we’re very pleased with the overall condition of the surface as preparations continue.
