Greenock Morton would like to welcome Specsavers Greenock to Cappielow Park as one of the new partners for the 2023/24 season.
Specsavers Greenock were our match sponsors for the Communities Cup win over St. Mirren in July and will extend their support of community ownership for the rest of the season.
A family-run business for over 35 years, Specsavers Greenock work to provide the best value optometry, audiology and other healthcare services to the community.
The Specsavers Greenock brand will be visible from Saturday’s match against Arbroath at the corner of the Cowshed and Sinclair Street ends. We are also delighted to confirm the local branch as player sponsors for Barry Campbell, Oliver Fisher and Sam Murdoch, three of our new youth apprenticeships.
Keep your eyes on #specsaversgreenock on social media for opportunities to win tickets across the season.
Megan Brown, store director at Specsavers Greenock, said: “Our team prides ourselves in being at the heart of our community supporting the people of Greenock with professional eye care and hearing services. However, our support for the local community extends to working with fantastic local groups including Greenock Morton.
“Through supporting the youth side, we hope that we can allow some of the fantastic local talent to discover their love for the sport and potentially set their sights on a future career playing for the first team. We’re rooting for each of these fantastic players and proud to support our local club.”
“Following the success of the previous partnership, it’s great to welcome the Specsavers Greenock team to the Morton family for the 2023/24 campaign. The outstanding team at the Greenock branch offer a key and valued service to the local Inverclyde community. Having the support of more local businesses behind us is fundamental to the sustainability of community ownership,” added Ross Dunbar, Head of Commercial.
