NEW CLUB PR OFFICER

Greenock Morton FC wish to announce that Gerry McDade will be taking up the position of Public Relations Officer at the club.

Gerry has considerable experience working in the twin industries of football and media and is looking forward to bringing that experience to Greenock Morton. In the past year he has hosted the Match-Day event in the Douglas Rae Lounge as well as presenting the club’s ‘Weekly Update’ slot on You Tube.

Club CEO, Dave MacKinnon said; “With the whole complexity of our media and PR responsibilities changing to meet our new Club TV and Streaming output, we need to have someone with those skillsets directing. Gerry has become a positive influence around the Club in the last year, and I’m looking forward to his skills adding value across all Club activities.”

In addition, Gerry stated; “I’ve enjoyed a close working relationship with everyone at the Club and I’m looking forward to building on that over the coming weeks and months as we meet the challenges ahead.”
