cinch Championship

Cappielow Park supported by Dalrada Technology

Kick-off 3pm

Scene Setter

Morton are back home tomorrow afternoon at Cappielow Park supported by Dalrada Technology for what is the penultimate home match of the season. Despite a strong performance from the squad last Saturday, the Ton left the Kilmac Stadium with one point following a 3-3 draw with league leaders Dundee. A spot in the top four is still within reach and should Morton win tomorrow they would move up one spot to fifth if results elsewhere go in favour of the Greenock side.

Ian Murray’s Raith Rovers side currently sit seventh in the cinch Championship table with one win, one draw and three losses in their last five matches. Last time out for the Kirkcaldy side saw them draw 1-1 at home against Arbroath. A win for Raith tomorrow afternoon would see them remain seventh in the table.

It’s been a mixed bag of results in this tie across the season with two draws and a win for each side. Last time out at Cappielow saw skipper Grant Gillespie scored a late penalty to secure all three points for the Ton.
