Matchday Packages & Experience Update from Mark Kelly
As someone who was born and bred in Greenock, I understand just how important Greenock Morton is to our town, our community, and the generations of supporters who proudly follow the club.
As a community club, I believe it is our responsibility to give back whenever we can. That is why I am delighted to announce a number of changes that will help make the club more accessible and affordable for families, supporters, and local businesses across Inverclyde.
Firstly, we have reviewed our mascot package pricing. From the start of the 2026/27 season, the cost of a mascot package will be reduced from £175 to £100 for packages without a kit, and from £225 to £150 for packages that include a kit. We hope these significant reductions will allow more children and families to enjoy what should be a special and memorable matchday experience.
We are also pleased to confirm that we will once again be freezing our hospitality prices for the 2026/27 season. We appreciate the continued support of those who choose to enjoy matchdays through our hospitality offering, and we want to ensure it remains accessible and provides excellent value.
In addition, we have already taken the decision to freeze season ticket prices for the 2026/27 season. We recognise the financial pressures that many individuals and families continue to face, and we want to ensure that supporting Morton remains affordable for as many people as possible.
As part of this commitment, we also reintroduced Parent and Child season tickets, helping families attend matches together at a more affordable cost. Furthermore, we brought back concession season tickets for supporters who are in receipt of benefits, ensuring that football at Cappielow remains accessible to members of our community who may need additional support.
We will also be making our Match Sponsorship and Match Ball Sponsorship packages more affordable and accessible. Full details of the revised pricing structure will be announced when the fixtures for the new season are released.
Following yesterday’s Board update, I also want to emphasise how important it is that supporters back the club whenever they can by purchasing a season ticket. Season ticket sales are one of the most important sources of income for the football club and provide us with greater certainty when planning for the season ahead. Quite simply, the more season tickets we sell, the stronger the budget we can provide to First Team Manager Ian Murray as he looks to build the most competitive squad possible for the 2026/27 campaign.
Every season ticket purchased is an investment in the future of Greenock Morton. It helps the manager, supports the playing budget, and strengthens the club both on and off the park. I would encourage every supporter who is able to do so to get behind the club, secure their season ticket, and play their part in helping us move forward together.
Let’s also do everything we can to make Cappielow as full as possible for every home match this season. A packed stadium creates a fantastic atmosphere, gives the players an extra lift, and demonstrates the passion and commitment that make our support so special. Together, we can get behind Ian Murray and his squad and give them the backing they deserve throughout the season.
These changes form part of our wider commitment to strengthening the relationship between the club, our supporters, and the wider community. We want Greenock Morton to be a club that listens, engages, and evolves alongside the people it represents.
We welcome conversations, feedback, and new ideas from supporters, local businesses, community groups, and anyone who cares about the future of this football club. Together, we can continue to improve and ensure that Greenock Morton remains the community club that Inverclyde deserves.
Thank you for your continued support.
