MATCH RESULT: Morton 1-2 Partick Thistle

Morton are defeated in the final match of decade as Partick Thistle defeat the Ton by two goals to one.

Partick Thistle took the lead early on in the match as a cross into the box for Alex Jones gave the Jags the lead on 5 minutes.

However, after a foul on Reece Lyon in the box, a penalty was given and gave Kyle Jacobs the chance to slot it into the bottom left corner for the equaliser.

But almost 20 minutes into the second half saw Partick Thistle take the lead once again as a cross into the box was met by Thomas O’Ware at the near post who was able to volley it home.
