As we step into 2026, a new era begins on the pitch, driven by the arrival of Ian Murray as our new First Team Manager. Off the pitch, Greenock Morton are now recruiting for two further important positions to help drive the club forward
General Manager Vacancy
Firstly, the club are looking to appoint a new General Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the club and drive progress across operations, commercial growth, and governance. We are looking for someone to provide strong operational leadership and business discipline across all areas of the club, ensuring Greenock Morton is run efficiently, compliantly, and profitably – delivering high standards in administration, matchday operations, and commercial performance, while deepening community and stakeholder engagement.

Sports Scientist Vacancy
The club are also looking to recruit a Sports Scientist to join our football department. This role will be focused on delivering a high-level of sports science function to the club, predominantly to the Men’s First Team, to support Ian and his backroom team.
