Jack Purdue signs one-year extension

We are pleased to announce that development squad midfielder Jack Purdue has today signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Cappielow until 10 June 2019.

Greenock-born youth academy graduate Jack joined the club in November 2014 after catching the eye of scout Mick King whilst turning out for Gourock YAC.

He progressed through our youth system before signing a two-year, full-time contract aged 16 in May 2016, making his senior debut as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle on 24 February this year.

Jack capped a memorable campaign by scoring the Development League West winning goal from the penalty spot in the final-day decider against Ayr United before now penning a new deal for next term.
