Iain Wilson Joins the Ton

Greenock Morton FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Iain Wilson on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old midfielder who recently left Dunfermline Athletic joined up with his new Ton teammates this morning for his first training session and will be hoping to make a quick impact this weekend as the squad travel to Inverness in the cinch Championship.

Iain started his career at Kilmarnock before spending time on loan at Queen of the South in 2019 and 2020 followed by a permanent move to Dunfermline in July 2020.

Iain has also gained valuable experience representing his country at U21 level on numerous occasions and we can’t wait to welcome him out on to the Cappielow pitch and see him in action.
