Farrell and Martins to leave Cappielow

We can today confirm that development squad players Daniel Farrell and Daniel Martins will leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts next month.

Nigeria-born defender Martins joined on a short-term contract on 2 August 2018 after a successful trial spell and made four Reserve League starts, as well as spending time on loan with Greenock Juniors.

Goalkeeper Farrell signed for the club as a member of the Under-20s squad in the summer of 2017 and made 12 starts as the team won Development League West.

The 19-year-old made a further three reserve starts this term whilst making a further seven appearances for loan club Largs Thistle.

We thank both Daniels for their efforts during their time at Cappielow and wish them the very best in their future careers.
