East Kilbride Ticket Information
We can now confirm that tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday 9th July for our first home Premier Sports Cup group stage match versus East Kilbride. The arrangements for spectator entry to this game will be similar to those at the Playoff Final last season.
Please note tickets will be available to home fans only.
The club have been granted an increased capacity of 1,500 for this game, with a combination of seating and standing, by Inverclyde Council. This means some supporters will be able to return to the Cowshed for the first time in 16 months. We would like to thank Inverclyde Council for their support and cooperation. We would also like to highlight that this increase has been granted as a result of the excellent cooperation of the fans who attended the Airdrie game.
This game will serve as a pilot for this increased capacity and Council representatives will be in attendance to ensure procedures are followed correctly by the club and supporters. It is crucial that everyone follows the rules in place to enable the club to retain the increased capacity for the upcoming games against Clyde and Dunfermline.
We will be selling tickets for both games in four sections.
- Main Stand Seating
- Wee Dublin End Seating
- Cowshed Seating
- Cowshed/Sinclair Street Standing
Tickets for each area will go on sale from 9:30am on Friday and the number of tickets for each area is limited. Tickets can be purchased from the main club office or by phoning 01475 723571. Fans will be given the opportunity to select the area of the stadium their ticket will be in, subject to availability.
Tickets can be purchased at the following times:
- Friday 9th July – 9.30am to 4.00pm
- Saturday 10th July – 9.30am to 12.30pm
- Monday 12th July – 9.00am to 5.00pm
- Tuesday 13th July – 9.00am to 3.00pm
Please note, for last year’s season ticket holders you will be able to pick up a ticket to the East Kilbride game free of charge as a thank you for your support.
As with the Playoff Final, there will be allocated entry and exit times. However, as the stadium capacity is greater, there will be a few changes.
Main Stand
Entry to the whole stand will be through the Sinclair Street main stand entrance. Entry times are as follows:
Sections F and G – 5.45pm to 6.15pm
Sections C, D and E – 6.15pm to 6.55pm
Sections A and B – 6.55pm to 7.25pm
The stand will exit after the game in the reverse order (i.e., section A will leave first).
Wee Dublin End
Entry to the WDE stand will be through the “away” entrance. Entry times are as follows:
Sections M and N (nearest the cowshed) – 6.00pm – 6.30pm
Sections K and L (middle) – 6.30pm – 7.00pm
Sections H and J (stand side) – 7.00pm – 7.30pm
Again, the area will empty after the game in the reverse order.
Cowshed seating
Entry to the cowshed seats will be through the Sinclair Street cowshed turnstiles.
The seats at the WDE side of the cowshed will be allocated 7:00-7:15 for entry. The seats at the Sinclair Street side of the cowshed will be 7:15-7:30.
Standing areas (Sinclair Street and Cowshed)
Standing areas will be accessed through the Sinclair Street turnstiles. There will also be allocated entry times for the standing areas, and fans are urged to arrive early at the stadium. Spectators will be asked to move to the far end of the row of steps and to fill in the available spaces on their allocated rows, subject to the two metre distancing requirements.
The cowshed standing area will be allocated 6.15pm to 7.00pm. The Sinclair Street end will be admitted from 7.00pm to 7.30pm. You cannot change position once you are admitted to the appropriate section of the stadium.
The entry conditions will include the requirement that social distancing must be always maintained, and face masks must be worn to cover the nose and mouth. As mentioned, there will be council officials in attendance at home matches to ensure that the club are following the necessary protocols. As such, if fans do not follow the Covid rules they will be asked to leave the stadium.
Supporters must arrive at Cappielow at their designated time. If you are late, you will not be permitted to enter the stadium. Please bear that in mind when purchasing your tickets.
On arrival, your temperature will be checked, and you will be required to sanitise your hands before entry.
Once inside the stadium, stewards will direct you to your seat or allocated standing area. You will be permitted to sit or stand with members of your extended household only. You must remain in your position unless you require to use the toilets.
There will be no catering facilities available during the match. Please feel free to bring your own food and drink but remember that bottles and cans are not permitted within the stadium.
Disabled supporters will be accommodated at the front of the Sinclair Street end. We know that this is not an ideal solution and have had discussions with the Disability liaison officer at the club to try and find a better solution, but in the short term this is all that we can offer with the restrictions in place. Disabled supporters will be allowed to bring an umbrella into the stadium if rain is forecast and as an alternative, disabled fans who have season tickets will be offered a free stream of the game.
As with the Playoff Final, we realise these restrictions make the matchday experience more complicated than usual, especially for the East Kilbride game on the Tuesday night. However, we hope these restrictions will only be with us for a few more games before the matchday experience can return to something closer to normality.
We would like to thank all of you for your support and patience and look forward to seeing you at Cappielow.
