Dougie Imrie named Manager of the Month for February

Dougie Imrie has today been named the Glen’s Championship Manager of the Month for February 2023.

Across the month of February, Dougie guided the Ton to three wins and one draw with the most notable victory coming against Queen’s Park at home as his side ran out 3-2 winners. The other wins included a vital 1-0 win at home against second place Dundee as well as a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory at home against Cove Rangers.

The other match in February was a 2-2 draw away to Inverness that saw Robbie Muirhead hit double figures for the season.

The gaffer has now picked up a Manager of the Month award for January, February, September/October 2022 and now February 2023.

Receiving his second award of the season, Dougie had this to say:

“It’s an honour to be named Manager of the Month for February and to win this award for the second time this season. This is recognition of the hard work that the players and coaching staff have been putting in every week both on and off the park and ultimately without them I wouldn’t be in a position to receive this award.”
