Development Trio Sign New Deals

Greenock Morton are pleased to announce that John Gallagher, Christopher Stafford and Aidan Duffy have all signed one-year extensions with the club.

The three youngsters have all signed development contracts and will go out on loan for the 2021/22 season whilst continuing to train with the first team squad.

Centre back Christopher Stafford will be joining Cumnock Juniors and John Gallagher will be heading to Kilbirnie Juniors.

Meanwhile Aidan Duffy will travel to the borders this season as he goes out on loan to Gretna 2008. The forward will be learning from one of Morton’s all time top goalscorers Rowan Alexander who has served as manager there since 2019.

19-year-olds Stafford and Duffy, and 20-year-old Gallagher will be looking to gain valuable experience during their loan spells as they look to push towards the first team.
