Defender Doyle dismayed by penalty decision

Defender Michael Doyle gives media and communications officer Jonathan Mitchell his reaction to Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final loss to Celtic.

The right-back was involved in the game’s major talking point when he was incorrectly adjudged to have fouled Moussa Dembele inside the box.

He admitted it was a foul but insisted it was a poor decision as it occurred at least a yard outside the area, and ultimately proved costly.

Doyle also feels he and his team-mates can hold their heads high after their first-half performance, in particular the fact they got in goalless at the break and Brendan Rodgers changed his formation in response.
