We’ll channel disappointment in the right way

Jim McAlister insists the Morton squad will channel their disappointment surrounding the unexpected departure of manager Ray McKinnon and first-team coach Darren Taylor into positive performances on the pitch.

The skipper says the events of Friday night did not have effect the players in their match against Partick Thistle the following day and is also confident it will not derail their positive start to the campaign.

Jim also talks the result, Denny Johnstone’s contribution, the Jags winning goal and their phantom second, the collective determination to keep the season on track, and also thanks the travelling fans for their wonderful backing.
