Gats: Livi game gives us quick shot at redemption

Goalkeeper Derek Gaston says tonight’s midweek match against Livingston gives Morton an immediate shot at redeeming themselves for what he described as the worst 45-minute performance in his time at the club.

The Sinclair Street side shipped three goals in the first half hour of Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Falkirk, and Gaston confessed that it was nowhere near good enough.

But the 30-year-old shot-stopper believes they can use the sting of that defeat as a motivational tool in tonight’s Ladbrokes Championship clash against David Hopkin’s second-placed side.
