Zander proud to open account against Celtic

Development squad striker Alexander Easdale was delighted to open his account for the season by scoring the second goal in Tuesday’s impressive 3-1 win over Celtic in Reserve League One.

The 18-year-old hitman turned home strike-partner Ben Armour’s pull-back to make it 2-0 against the Parkhead club’s second string at Cappielow.

Easdale was thrilled to find the net but says it was all about the team and getting three points, and he feels the result will stand them in good stead for the rest of the league season.
