Vacancy | Development Squad Coach
Greenock Morton Football Club is seeking to recruit a committed, knowledgeable, and self-motivated individual to take on the position of development squad coach within our youth development pathway.
The ability to organise, communicate, design and deliver high-performance player development is integral to our long-term vision.
Therefore, this post is fundamental to the football club, ensuring that the department attains all criteria for Project Brave, but, more importantly, builds on the academy’s current successes.
The role will also include interaction with our first-team staff as well as youth academy coaches and players in the senior age groups.
The applicant must be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. This is a full-time position of 35 hours per week. The salary will be £22-25K dependent upon experience
Essential skill requirements:
- A current UEFA Pro, UEFA A, or UEFA Youth License is absolutely essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience of working with young, elite footballers, preferably in the 16 to 22-year-old age range.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- A sound understanding of player development, CAS, and Project Brave.
