Under-20s friendly v Ardrossan W. R. tonight

Our table-topping Under-20s continue their preparations for the second half of the Development League West campaign with a friendly away at junior club Ardrossan Winton Rovers tonight.

Andy Millen’s side return to competitive action with a fixture against Queen of the South here at Cappielow on Tuesday 31 January in what will be their first outing since mid-December.

Due to that long lay-off, boss Millen arranged a bounce game against Motherwell last week and this evening’s match against the Ayrshire district league outfit.

Winton have several faces familiar to Ton fans. They are managed by former 17s coach Sandy MacLean and boast a handful of ex-Cappielow kids in David McNeil, Luke Irvine, Jordan Cairnie and Steven Lamont.

Admission at Winton Park is by donation at the gate and kick off is 7.30pm.
