Telfer: Falkirk draw was a point gained

Midfielder Charlie Telfer believes Morton will look back on Saturday’s goalless draw with Falkirk as a point gained despite the feeling that it was a match they felt they could have taken three points.

The 23-year-old says that the Ton felt they would go on and win the game after going in at the break goalless, but felt the way they second half panned out meant a draw was a fair outcome.

Telfer also discusses the fact the squad’s focus was solely on football and that former manager Ray McKinnon’s departure was not a motivating factor for them as they are happy with the way things are going under the new regime.
