Brian Gillan joined Morton in the 1979/80 season as a 6 year old as a ball boy. His two oldest sons are ball boys now. Been here now for 36 years man and boy!
He attended with his dad who was at that time a steward. They were short on ball boys and the rest is history as they say!
Brian is a natural with children having 5 of his own, so it seemed only right that he should assume the role of Match Day Mascot chaperone. He meets and greets mascots and family and make sure they have an amazing experience at Cappielow.
Brain has been attending Morton games since he was 5. Like his dad and his dad before him. Now a father to 5 kids, including 3 Morton daft boys, 2 of which are ball boys. Brian enjoys every day as it comes as a cancer survivor!
