Scully pleased to help Ton make their point

Goalkeeper Ryan Scully said it was vital that Morton showed they weren’t a soft touch by taking something from Saturday’s game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle – and he was thrilled to be able to play his part.

The Dublin-born shot-stopper felt Ton stood up to be counted after the 5-1 defeat against Ayr United as they claimed a point in the Highlands.

Scully’s performance was integral to that and he was pleased to be able to make a valuable contribution with a handful of saves, including a remarkable late reflex stop to deny Caley Thistle sub Daniel Mackay.
