Morton make the trip north to The Global Energy Stadium for the third match of the Viaplay Cup group stage. Last time out against Stranraer, it was a 3-0 win at home for the Ton to make it 6 points from 6 so far in the competition. A win tomorrow afternoon would keep the Cappielow side top of Group D with three wins from the first three games.

Ross County sit second in Group D following their first game of the group stage. Last time out for the Staggies it was a comprehensive 5-1 victory away to Stranraer and they will be looking to build on that in their first competitive home game the season. A win for Malky Mackay’s side would see them leapfrog Morton to take top spot in the group.

The last time Morton faced off against Ross County was back in March of 2019 in a match that saw the Highlanders securing a 2-0 win at home with goals from Josh Mullin and Brian Graham.
