Reece Lyon signs contract extension

We are delighted to report that midfielder Reece Lyon has today put pen to paper on a new two-year contract to extend his stay with the club until June 2021.

Greenock-born Reece progressed through our youth academy and, upon graduating from our Under-17s, signed a two-year professional deal in June 2017.

He made his first senior start for Morton back in October last year scoring a sensational late winner against Queen of the South.

Since then, the 19-year-old has made a further five starts, including another impressive performance against the Doonhamers last month, and is determined to build on his progress after committing himself to the club for a further two years.
