Ray keeping a sense of perspective about point

Manager Ray McKinnon was disappointed not to win Saturday’s league opener against Queen of the South after taking a two-goal lead but insisted it was important to keep a sense of perspective about the point.

Although he felt victory was in the bag at 2-0, the Ton boss admitted that it was an even contest overall and that a draw was a fair result against a decent Doonhamers side.

McKinnon also talks there being plenty of positives, Michael Tidser and Ross MacLean’s goals, lapses in concentration at Queens’ goals, Ryan Scully’s double save, and left-back Rory McKeown’s last-minute debut.
