Partick Thistle vs Morton | Use of Pyrotechnics

Greenock Morton would like to remind supporters that the use of pyrotechnics at football is illegal and can lead to police action.

We are disappointed that a small number of fans utilised pyrotechnics at todays match with Partick Thistle, narrowly missing young children that were on the pitch. This will mean the club being answerable to the authorities for the actions of a small number of people.

The club will now liaise with Partick Thistle and the relevant parties to try and identify those responsible for utilising pyrotechnics and take the appropriate action which could lead to a football banning order.
