Morton vs Raith Rovers | Supporters Message
We look forward to welcoming each and every supporter and member of the community to our match with Raith Rovers tomorrow where we will celebrate 150 years of Greenock Morton.
Ahead of the match we issue the following messages:
We encourage all supporters to be in the stadium by 2.40pm. The flag raising party and pipe band will take to the field at 2.40pm so make sure you don’t miss it. With that being said, due to an anticipated larger crowd than usual, please ensure you give plenty of time to enter the stadium.
Please remember it is an illegal offense to enter the field of play at any point, so please refrain from entering unauthorised areas at all times.
The use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited. Anybody found to be in possession of or using a pyrotechnic device will be ejected and will be subject to a football banning order.
A commemorative 150th anniversary match programme will be available to purchase. This will include a history of the club, interviews with club legends and more.
Former players will enter the field of play at half time for a lap of honour. This will include players from a variety of different eras so please give them a massive round of applause.
The Club would like to thank everybody that has been involved in the build up to tomorrow’s match and the companies that have also helped us make tomorrow possible.
We hope each and every person within the stadium can enjoy, celebrate and remember a remarkable day in the club’s history.
