McAlister: We won’t hide behind penalty calls

Frustrated Jim McAlister wasn’t convinced either of Alloa Athletic’s penalty awards were the correct calls but says Morton can’t and won’t hide behind the decisions and use them as an excuse for the home loss.

The Ton went down to a 2-0 defeat after Alan Trouten and Iain Flannigan successfully converted spot-kicks in the final 20 minutes of Saturday’s Ladbrokes Championship clash.

Despite feeling Gregor Buchanan and Reghan Tumilty were harshly punished, McAlister believes the team allowed complacency to creep into their game and says the Jekyll and Hyde performances can’t continue.
