A second trip to Inverness in the space of a week is on the cards for Morton as they begin their Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup campaign.
The game follows the 5-0 defeat in Inverness for Morton and David Hopkin’s men will plan to avenge their mistakes in Saturday’s fixture.
Previously the Irn Bru Cup, the Ton enter the competition in the third round and will hope they can kick start a cup campaign and give a much improved performance following Friday’s defeat in the Highlands.

Last Time Round
It was a night to forget for Morton in the game against Inverness as they were left on the receiving end of an embarrassing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Inverness.
The first 20 minutes saw very little chances for either side in the game as both teams were attempting to put their tactical plans into play.
However, this deadlock did not last much longer as Aaron Dolan’s shot on 43 minutes was palmed out to James Keatings who was able to finish the ball into an empty net to give Inverness the lead.
Morton’s first half performance was a much different story from the second half performance as it seemed like Inverness had found a new lease of life heading into the second half when a long pass over the top over the top of the Ton defence on 46 minutes found James Keatings who made no mistake about finishing the ball into the net for Caley Thistle’s second of the day.
Caley Thistle got their third of the day on 68 minutes as Jordan White found himself one-on-one with Morton goalkeeper Danny Rogers and slipped the ball under the Ton goalie to send Inverness further ahead.
The fourth for Inverness came on 77 minutes as a corner into the box was met by a powerful Coll Donaldson header into the back of the net.
The final goal came on 80 minutes when substitute Nikolay Todorov finished the game off with a tidy finish past goalkeeper Danny Rogers.

Admission is by ticket only, which can be purchased at the ticket office at the front of the main stand, and prices are:

Morton fans will be situated in the Main Stand and enter via turnstile 6.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle is a family club and expects fans to behave reasonably. Searching may take place prior to entry and unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated with offenders liable to ejection of arrest.
Anyone consuming alcohol to excess will be refused entry.
Smoking including e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere inside the stadium.
The Sports Bar at the stadium welcomes away fans.

Wheelchair user pays entry to stadium with carer goingfree. Tickets are purchased at ticket office and entry is via south stand, turnstile 7.

By Road: Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Station Road, Inverness, IV1 1FF
A8/M8 – M80 – M9 – A9 to Inverness. Take third right at Longman roundabout on A9 and follow road to stadium car park.

Parking
Car parking: On street car parking. Restrictions will be in place. Drivers should find areas away from the stadium to park legally.
Coach parking: Parking available in Neish Street.
Car parking – South car park at a charge of £3. Note – parking on Stadium Road opposite the ground is not permitted as there are double yellow lines and will be enforced.
Coaches – South car park and this is free.

- The Greenock Morton Supporters Club bus leaves the club at 9am. Costs for all travelling to the game is £21.
