Scene Setter

Morton begin the first of three home games in a row this week with a home game against Dick Campbell’s Arbroath side tomorrow afternoon in the Ladbrokes Championship.

The game follows the Ton’s 2-1 defeat away to Partick Thistle which saw the Sinclair Street side slip down to the relegation playoffs being 9th place in the league table.

A win will see the Ton escape the relegation playoffs dependent on results elsewhere in the league.

The Licthies go into the game after two wins on the trot and have saw themselves shoot up the table to 5th place in the league.

Dick Campbell’s men will be hoping to continue this good form away at Cappielow to challenge Inverness Caledonian Thistle who are on joint amount of points as Arbroath.
