Kerr: I’ll need to keep scoring to impress parents

Defender Kerr Waddell was delighted to score his first Morton goal but knows he will have keep hitting the back of the net if he is to impress his parents.

The Dundee loanee headed Ton into the lead in Tuesday’s Scottish Cup replay against Peterhead at Balmoor to open his account for the Cappielow club.

Waddell said it was brilliant get on the scoresheet, but he revealed his mother and father have been telling him he should be doing it on a more regular basis and so has set himself a target of seven or eight for the season.

He also talks discussing the game with Pars midfielder, and fellow Dark Blues loanee, James Vincent, Tuesday’s win against the Blue Toon, and feeling confident after the midweek success.
