Jonatan proud to be new Morton manager
New Morton first-team manager Jonatan Johansson has expressed his pride at taking charge at Cappielow and says he feels ready to take the reins after learning a great deal in his previous coaching roles.
A former Ton co-development squad manager, Motherwell Under-20s boss, and assistant with both the Finland national team and Rangers, the 43-year-old was eager for an opportunity as a No.1.
The former Finland international also discusses his knowledge of the current playing squad, his immediate plans, and bringing in an assistant manager.
Johansson also reveals his appreciation of the Ton’s links with Finland, in particular his long association with Marko Rajamaki, and whether we might see some players arrive from his homeland in future.
