Johansson: We had to pick up three points

Jonatan Johansson picked up his first three points as Morton manager with a win over Falkirk on Saturday and admitted it was vital to claim a home victory.

Substitute Bob McHugh made the difference as the Ton beat 10-man Bairns 1-0 at Cappielow, and the Greenock gaffer feels it can be the springboard for a positive run of results.

Johansson also discusses how his players handled the occasion, Falkirk’s red card, whether he was confident his side would score, McHugh’s goal, recording a cleansheet, and the emotion at full-time.
