Johansson very pleased with Ayr performance

Manager Jonatan Johansson admitted he was very pleased with his team’s performance against Ayr United on Saturday but admitted he is greedy and would have liked to have taken all three points.

Morton went some way towards redeeming themselves after last weekend’s 2-0 home loss to Alloa Athletic by drawing away at the Ladbrokes Championship leaders.

Although Johansson took a great deal of satisfaction from the team’s display and the shutting out the free scoring Honest Men, the fact Ayr were reduced to 10 men meant he was still left wondering what might have been.

The Cappielow gaffer also discusses Craig Moore’s red card, chances for Gary Oliver and Bob McHugh, and whether Gregor Buchanan’s late header crossed the line.
