Johansson looking for improvement against Ayr

Manager Jonatan Johansson has called for an improved performance from his side when they host league leaders Ayr United at Cappielow on Saturday.

The Ton drew 1-1 with Dunfermline Athletic last weekend and the Greenock gaffer and his assistant Peter Houston were far from satisfied with the display.

Johansson identified use of the ball while in possession and team shape as shortcomings in their game against the Pars and explained those are areas they have been working on in training this week.

The 43-year-old also discusses watching the Honest Men in their Betfred Cup tie against Rangers on Wednesday night, Lewis Strapp and Ruaridh Langan heading out on loan, Lee Kilday becoming a dad, and gives injury news.
