Johansson: Alloa wanted it more than us

Disappointed Morton manager Jonatan Johansson admitted Alloa Athletic wanted it more than his side on Saturday as they caused an upset with a 2-0 win at Cappielow.

The Ton boss conceded that the Wasps deserved the three points but felt the visitors were also given a ‘freebie’ with two penalties caused by lazy defending, albeit he was unsure whether the second foul occured inside the box.

Johansson also said his team were too stand-offish and never looked liked scoring in the second half, adding that he didn’t understand the transformation as there was no reason to be nervous after recent positive results.
