Janne Lindberg to attend Sportsman’s Dinner

We are pleased to announce that former player Janne Lindberg will be a guest of honour at our annual Greenock Morton Football Club sportsman’s dinner, sponsored by PG Paper.

Finnish midfielder Lindberg joined the Ton alongside fellow compatriot Marko Rajamaki in 1994 and made a total of 88 appearances over three years.

The 52-year-old, who won 34 caps for Finland, was recently head coach at Finnish third tier side Sudet and also gained top flight experience as manager of VPS and MyPa.

A fans’ favourite, Janne joins host Peter Martin, former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Dean Saunders and renowned after dinner speaker Sheriff Lindsay Wood for an evening of fantastic entertainment at Greenock Town Hall on Saturday 13 April, in aid of Ton youth development.
