Greenock Morton are pleased to announce that Jamie Butler has signed a contract with the club until the end of the season.

28-year-old Jamie is an experienced goalkeeper who has played his football down south in the English lower leagues. In addition to his playing duties, he will also be helping Morton’s goalkeepers in a training capacity.

Due to COVID-19 testing regulations Jamie will be unavailable for tomorrow’s squad but will meet up with his new ‘Ton teammates at training next week.

Speaking exclusively to the Club Website, interim manager, Anton McElhone said; “It’s great news that Jamie has joined us at Cappielow. He will compete for first-team action, but he will also help to further develop Aidan McAdams as well as the younger goalkeepers at the club.”
