Jack Baird signs pre-contract agreement with the club.

Greenock Morton FC are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Baird on a pre-contract agreement.

Jack will be returning to the club having previously spent a season on loan at Cappielow in the 2019/20 campaign that was unfortunately cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following his loan spell, Jack signed for Ayr United in 2020 where he has spent the past two years.

The 26-year-old becomes the first summer signing for Ton boss Dougie Imrie and will put pen to paper on a deal keeping him at Cappielow until summer 2024.

On the signing, Dougie had this to say, “I am delighted to get Jack signed up for the next two years. He’s a player with a vast amount of experience playing in the Championship, he knows the league well and is familiar with how competitive it is. Jack has obviously been here before so knows the club well and I’m hoping the fans can get right behind him.”
