In-form Harkins happy to be playing his part

Midfielder Gary Harkins says he was happy with his contribution to Saturday’s 4-1 win over Brechin City after a goal and man of the match display.

The 32-year-old scored from the spot to take his recent tally to four in five matches as well as collecting the sponsors’ champagne and a place in the SPFL’s Team of the Week for another polished performance.

Gary also jokes about his doubts as to whether Scott Tiffoney meant his first senior goal, discusses the situation surrounding the penalty after missing at Falkirk, and his recent form in the middle of the park.
