Manager Jim Duffy has stopped short of describing tomorrow’s match against Queen of the South as a ‘must-win’ but insists his side will be throwing everything at it to get all three points.
Ton host the seventh-paced Doonhamers in Greenock and gaffer Duffy expects the Doonhamers to come determined to claim a victory despite slipping to the fringes of the play-off race.
But the Greenock gaffer says maximum points could prove massive in his side’s own bid to secure a coveted top-four spot and that their motivation will more than match that of their opponents.
He also reveals that goalkeeper Derek Gaston will miss out through injury and reflects on the recent passing of footballing friends and colleagues Ray Wilkins and John Lambie.
