Duffy: We deserved a draw against Livingston

Manager Jim Duffy says last night’s 1-0 loss to Livingston was harsh on Morton and insists his side deserved to take a draw from the Ladbrokes Championship fixture.

The Ton boss praises David Hopkin’s Livi and the way they defended but felt a point apiece would have been the correct outcome based on the balance of play over the the course of the 90 minutes at Cappielow.

He also discusses the playing surface and conditions, the pitch passing an inspection, his team’s final ball being poor, and the positive performance of teenager Lewis Strapp.
