Dougie Imrie Named February Manager of the Month

Dougie Imrie has today been named the Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month for February 2022.

It was another big month for the team and Dougie as he managed to lead the team to 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss picking up 10 points from a possible 15.

The month started with a big away win against Inverness, leaving the Highlands with a 1-0 before coming from behind the following week to defeat Queen of the South 2-1 at Cappielow. It was a first league defeat for Dougie at the hands of Hamilton but the team bounced back quickly with a massive 1-0 win away to Partick Thistle before finishing the month with a 0-0 draw at home to Arbroath.

This accolade now gives Dougie Imrie his second Manager of the Month award in just two full months in management, winning the award in back-to-back months.

On winning the award for the second month in a row, Dougie Imrie, said:

“I am absolutely delighted to have been given the accolade of Manager of the Month for a second month in a row. To have won the award again is a real honour but as always with these awards, it’s all about the players and my coaching staff because without them you don’t get the results on the pitch.”
