Doohan named in Scotland Under-21 squad

Loan goalkeeper Ross Doohan was today named in the Scotland Under-21 squad for their upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifiers against England and Latvia

The 19-year-old shot-stopper joined the club on a temporary transfer from Celtic on 17 August and will be with us here at Cappielow until early January.

Doohan, who has been unable to dislodge Derek Gaston thus far, has represented Scotland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level, as well as having been named in the 21s squad in the past.

And boss Scot Gemmill has now recalled the Parkhead teenager for the following matches:

England v Scotland
