Dale Pryde-MacDonald to depart Cappielow

The club can today confirm that General Manager, Dale Pryde-MacDonald will be moving on from the club this summer.

An opportunity has presented itself in another country which he is keen to pursue and everyone at the club wishes him well for that new opportunity.

A handover period will be agreed and the club will begin the process of looking for a replacement.

The Board would like to thank Dale for his efforts over the last 20 months. There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to improve the club processes and procedures and while there have been many challenges, we appreciate all of Dale’s efforts in his time with us. We would like to wish him the best of luck in his new role and hope it is successful.

On leaving, Dale said, “It has been an honour and a privilege to serve Greenock Morton as General Manager. I am extremely proud of the work that has been done by the staff and various departments during my tenure and without them there is absolutely no doubt we would not have progressed and developed behind the scenes and the different facets of the club as we have done.”

“This is a special club that I will always hold close to me. It was my first role as a General Manager and whether people agreed or disagreed with me, I always tried to do my best by the club and our supporters. I have managed to build some lifelong friendships with people here and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the everybody at the club and Morton in the Community, along with the Board of Directors and our supporters for the backing and support I have had.”
